Steven E. Leder, now retired, has over 35 years of experience in litigating insurance coverage disputes and maritime casualties nationally and in Maryland, in particular. Mr. Leder has published and lectured extensively in these areas.

Mr. Leder is active in the insurance coverage and defense bars.  He has participated in the Defense Research Institute’s Insurance Law section authoring articles in For The Defense, the organization’s monthly magazine, and has contributed to several 50-state compendia of insurance law.

Mr. Leder has been an instructor in numerous deposition training seminars and insurance coverage sponsored by the Maryland State Bar Association, lectured on Admiralty Law to the Maryland Defense Association.

On the state level, he is a frequent contributor to the Maryland Defense Counsel’s Defense Line. He is a proctor in the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
